Some exciting things are happening with NCVA and their tournaments in 2008. First, Presidents Day Tournament has grown into a two venue tournament. The younger girls will be housed in Santa Clara and we added two great hotels - one right at the Santa Clara convention center that includes breakfast and NO parking fees!
We have been listening to your desires. With hotel room rates increasing we set out to find a San Jose hotel that doesn't have parking fees and offers lower room rates while still being convenient to the San Jose Convention Center. Make sure you consider the newly added Holiday Inn (formerly the Hyatt).
In Reno in April, this tournament will also be splitting into two weekends to accommodate the growth NCVA is seeing. We have been able to add some nice, new hotels in addition to adding some popular hotels we haven't had in the past - like the Atlantis and the Hampton Inn.
Some other good news. The boys tournaments have grown large enough to be placed in convention centers. We welcome them to NCVA Reservations and look forward to speaking with these new teams!
NCVA is doing an exceptional job at putting on these tournaments with all of their intricate logistics. In order to hold these events at convention centers, NCVA MUST prove that so much revenue is being brought into the city via the hotels acommodations, food and beverage and (in the case of Reno) casino operations. Therefore, every time you book outside the NCVA block it hurts the tournament because they can't prove to the city the revenue they are generating. Please support NCVA by doing everything you can to book at one of their contracted hotels within the block. It is in the best interest for everyone.
